Tim Kelley is a global change agent and internationally renowned expert on higher purpose. He works with top leaders in many fields and countries to redesign and evolve society. Tim has trained over 1000 consultants, therapists and coaches in his methods. He is founder of the True Purpose Institute, the author of True Purpose, and the best-selling coauthor of three other books. His methodologies have been featured internationally in magazines, newspapers and on television.
Tim has worked with top leaders and executive teams from such companies as Alibaba, ING, Oracle, Nabisco and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has coached and trained business, military and religious leaders, including CEOs, government ministers, and presidential candidates. He is an expert in self-organizing systems and has found the higher purpose of dozens of companies and two countries.
Tim is also a certified Conscious Capitalism consultant and leads the Conscious Capitalism Consulting Certification Program. He was formerly a commanding officer in the Navy, leading an ammunition handling detachment, a submarine repair unit, and amphibious assault craft. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from MIT.
Tim lives in Berkeley, California with his wife Heather and son Ronan.
